I love the New Year and every year Stampin’ Up has Sale-A-Bration! This year has been no different, we could only initially get a couple of items free but these Awesome Otters were one and they are so much fun!!! The rest have now arrived in the warehouse so all products are still available currently.
At my Coffee & Cards in January we did this card which I copied from Diana van Otterlo and changed from her pink version to the blues. We had fun stamping the Otter images and colouring in with the Stampin’ Blends pens (Crumb Cake – Light & Dark, Petal Pink, Balmy Blue – Light and Dark) and adding Wink of Stella to make the tummy’s shimmer in the water & the hats sparkle. I’ve also added the Blue Adhesive-Backed Gems.
We set the square Night of Navy Panel with four smaller Basic White squares using Dimensionals and just stamped the words and hats direct onto the Balmy Blue card base.
I didn’t have enough of the free Sale-a-bration Simply Marbleous 6″x6″ Designer Series Paper to use with the project but could you imagine using the blues to add another layer of dimension – yummy!
