Once a month, usually on the Third Week you will find me at Ambrosia Cafe, Richmond hosting Coffee & Cards on Mondays and Fridays between 10am and 11:30am.
I started this many years ago to allow show how easy and fun making cards could be and for anyone to join me, have a cuppa and create a card. As time has gone on I’ve found the lady’s (can be blokes too, just have never had any join in) have always done both cards I had on offer so now it’s always two cards and a cuppa (coffee, tea, hot chocolate or soft drink) for a very low price of $20, of course there is no stopping you from adding something yummy from the Cafe cabinets to eat as well.
Everything is supplied to make the two cards, so you just need to turn up and join in the fun, conversations & laughter. Anyone is welcome to come and I usually have a few spare kits with me for anyone who wants to join last minute (that’s what it’s all about anyway!).
Today, however, I decided to postpone and I’m at home hiding from all the crazy weather out there in the Nelson Region and my thoughts are with anyone affected by the floods & devastation but next Friday, all going to plan, I’ll be there.
